A really bad design. While trying to pry the phone from the case, it is easy to drop it. The case has a sheet of clear plastic that covers the keyboard so that the phone has to be removed from the case to use it. This is hard to do because the the zipper is stiff and moves slowly and the the phone is a tight fit and difficult to remove. Also, you have to take the phone off of your belt or where ever its clipped-to making the whole procedure even more cumbersome and time consuming. Mine went to the give-away shelf.
Total waste of money, front clear screen had lots of scratches on it. Looks cheap. Returned it and bought one leather case from ebay.
Finally took the plunge and just did it. Besides my belt, I needed to mount it on my bike handlebars and dashboard of my car. Better yet, the case and clip give me some grip where I had none before. I didn't like the full plastic cover but tried it for two weeks.
Oh, you really can't enlarge the hole without cutting the stitching for the zipper. It just didn't work with my fat fingers. I thought about cutting the bottom half of the plastic off the buttons but was worried about messing it up or the plastic not fitting tight anymore. I was torn between the Designio (classy looks) and Krussell (functionality & attachment options) cases for my E71. On the bike, I put a rubber band around it to keep the phone from bouncing when riding on rough roads and trails. The plastic fits as tight as a before and I can now operate the buttons as if it were out of the case.
Overall, I think Krussell should make this a permanent mod.As for the other issues I read about in these reviews, 1) It does fit tight which is a good thing to me. With all the attachment options there really isn't any reason to remove it once zipped up; 2) The charger hole is a little off center but my charger still stays plugged in if there isn't any tension on it.
It works fine but I just like that little extra security. So the Krussell was my first choice.
All other cuts in the case are pretty precise; 3) I still have the screen cover on the phone so I haven't experienced the scratches there, that someone mentioned. I used a razor knife to carefully cut along the groove at the edge of the outermost buttons.
It worked perfectly and the cut looks like it came that way. None on the metal case at all.Get the attachment kits for greater flexibility.
Overall, the Krussell works really well for me.
Secondly, the middle click button is exposed, which allows all sorts of grit to get inside the case. This case is very poorly designed. For one, it has a zipper which hangs on the side, which is inconvenient and ruins the aesthetic of the case. Third and possibly worst of all, the screen protection is marred with bubbles, making the screen hardly readable. I would think very hard before getting this case-I think I'm gonna ditch it and get another one.
The holes are not precise as such sometimes there might be problems in connecting through those. 1. The case looks nice in picture but has three flaws. 3. It is not a proper fit being tight to the extent that sometimes it appears that zipper might scratch the body. 2. It downgrades the overall appearance of phone making it look a bit cheaper contrary to the the description and picture.Having said that I think it is overpriced for the quality it provides. Returned mine.
